Dentistry is a marriage between science and art. It is a humanistic endeavor. Our very sustenance begins with the oral cavity. We use it to express ourselves not only through our emotions but with great intimacy. We connect with the world with our smile. As a dentist, my role is to help my patients develop optimal oral health and a beautiful smile.
I am honored to care for my patients. We are all doing the best we can with the vulnerabilities we feel. We connect on a deeper level than doctor and patient; they share their lives with me and I share mine with them. I realize and acknowledge the trust they place in me and I do my utmost to be that good to them. That commitment to my patients extends through my staff, as well. Whether a patient is apprehensive about seeking dental care or needs help understanding their insurance benefits, we are here to support, advise, and assist. We will help our patients navigate their way to a stunning, individual, and healthy smile.
Education and Continuing Education
I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 1975. Since then, I have been dedicated to continual post-doctoral degree education. Doing so not only benefits my patients, but it moves me forward on my journey to be the best I can be. Dentistry is at a turning point; technological advancement has led to a quantum leap in what we can now provide our patients and the future looks even brighter. As a dental professional, I know that my understanding of the developing technologies, as well as implementing new treatments and utilizing leading-edge processes, all lead to stronger results for those I treat.

I am a native of New York, NY and now live in Gardiner with my lovely wife Ellyn. I have two children and two beautiful grandchildren. When I am not caring for my patients, or furthering my education, you will find me pursuing my love of photography. I also enjoy exploring art galleries, watching films, and reading. Oh, and there is some semi-regular exercise in there, too.
