Allen Glied, DMD
Meet Dr. Glied
Dr. Glied has board certifications by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Board of Anesthesia. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his residency in advanced dentistry at McGill University in Montreal. He then completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Glied has several hospital affiliations including St. Barnabas Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at CUNY School of Medicine where he trains Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residents and general dentists. Dr. Glied served as Chief of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital for several years, and he continues to treat the most complex of facial injuries at this trauma center.
Dr. Glied is married and has two young sons. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, running, and photography.
